Well January was very quite but gave me plenty of time to check over the gear to make sure everything was in working order. Then all of a sudden the first bookings of the year was upon us and it was a mad panick to make sure everything was packed back in the trailer and ready to go
The first disco of the year was a wedding reception for Clare and Liam at Tiverton British Legeon Club. The Wedding Ceremony took place mid afternoon so decided to take the gear in the evening before. One of my better decision because everything was running late on the day but I was all setup and ready to go has soon as the meal and speechs had been completed. From start to finish the evening went very well with alot of the music played being request from their guests. Highlight of the night was watching Liam dancing to the Pouges Irish Rover.
The following week I was playing at the Rackenford Club for Anns xx birthday party (rude to say a ladys age). A great mixture of tracks from the 60s throu to some modern tracks kept the dance floor full all night and it was great meeting up with some people I hadnt seen for years.
So all in all it was a great start to the year.
