Meet DJ Neil Edwards

My name is Neil and I have been DJing since 2004. Most people call me Nevel or Slim, to be honest I respond to most things.

I started out working along side Mark (DJ Besty) as his roadie and got the bug.  After buying my first mobile rig a few years later, I set out by myself. Not long after I went pro, we all formed the Your Perfect Night and we've been providing high end discos for Weddings and Corporate Events since then.

Your Perfect Night grew very quickly and the diaries were being filled very fast. Over the years I have travelled far and wide DJing for many types of occasions, Wedding reception being my main gig.  As well as working along side Your Perfect Night, I also enjoy clay pigeon shooting, watching films, socialising with friends & family and eating out.

Favourite gig of 2010 – Wedding reception in North Devon, early set up, very very wet day and a brilliant night, the dance floor was packed, and to top it all off, the van sunk to the axles on the way out of the field.......... thank God for the tractor

My favourite music style...... chart, dance, r & b, 70's & 80's classics oh and the odd bit of 90's style cheese where appropriate. Tune of the year... Rhianna - Only Girl (Stonebridge remix) Favourite tune ever.... Wild Cherry - Play that funky music.

After a stressfull afternoon, we finally set off for Newqauy, Hotel Victoria always delivers a great night with a wide selection of people for all different backgrounds making the music variety great,

After the guests had eating their christmas meal the party got underway, with loads of new tunes to play the night started off with a real buzz.

Normally by about the 1am point, people start to drift away but no, Not this crowed, they kept me there until 2am playing loads of 80's classics and a few christmas songs, well it was christmas.

2am came, time to pack down the rig, after a quick pack down we were on the road.

Great night put on the by hotel victoria, look forward to nexts years already

A great night had by, was great  to see so many people out in fancy dress and really getting into the swing of things, Pleayed some great 70's disco classics along with the odd cheesey track(s) lol.

Top it off, confetti cannons were let off, messy to say the least, but very good fun, me being right in the thick of it, i have been picking bits of confettic out of my kit for the past 4 weeks!!

Reed Hall,

A big congratulations to Cara & Lee on their big day. The evening went off with a bang playing loads of the latest chart tunes and a few classic tunes thrown in there.

Half way through the night Cara & Lee's friends and family put on a dance routine to the 70's Classic tune "Tramps - Disco Inferno". It went down a storm with everyone, It really set the night off to a flying start.

Tunes of the night had to be The Killers - Mr Brightside

Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire

I would like to thank everyone for making the evening a great success for Cara & Lee

Ben & Anna on their big day, the whole day was a great success and the evening reception was even better. Playing a wide selection of music from Elvis to the Black Eyed Peas, the dance was full all night. It had to be one the best nights this year.

Many thanks again to Ben & Anna for a lovely day and night

until the next time................
